Description
SUMMIT, NJ — Summit has started its West End Avenue, Dunnder Drive improvement project, and it's looking like it will take about a month to complete, officials said. That means commuters should prepare for planned road closures in the meantime.
Road construction will be on the entire length of West End Avenue and Dunnder Drive. The project includes video inspection of storm and sanitary sewers, repairs to curbs and drain inlets and the milling and paving of the entire road.
Work started on Tuesday and is expected to last each Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for one month.
Police officers will be onsite during the project to assist with traffic control. Access to emergency vehicles will be provided.
