Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: October 4, 2021 COUNCIL TO SIT AS THE BOARD OF REVIEW OF THE 2021 ASSESSMENT VALUATIONS OF PROPERTY JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the second floor chambers at the Joseph S. Yenni Building, 1221 Elmwood Park Boulevard, Jefferson, 70123. The purpose of the meeting is so the Council may sit as the Board of Review of the 2021 assessment valuations of property in the parish. The purpose of the Board of Review is to give residents of Jefferson Parish the opportunity to object to what they feel may be an inaccurate assessment of their property. A public hearing will be held for those property owners who have filed timely appeals with the Jefferson Parish Assessor's Office.
