Description
PLEASANTON, CA — A series of seasonally themed, free, all-ages events kicked off this month at Alviso Adobe Community Park.
The events include arts and crafts, educational and hands-on activities. A few were slated for Pleasanton's farmers market.
Guests need not register in advance. Kids should be accompanied by adults.
Events will take place outside. If it rains, programs will move inside and facial coverings are a must.
The lineup is as follows.
Oct. 16: Storytime under the oak trees (recommended for kids ages 3 to 6), nature stroll (noon to 3 p.m., 3465 Old Foothill Road).Oct. 23: Observe and collect nature; learn about flora and fauna (noon to 3 p.m., 3465 Old Foothill Road).Oct. 30: Halloween mini pumpkin hunt and decoration, costume contest (noon to 3 p.m., 3465 Old Foothill Road).Nov. 6: Learn about the Adobe house architecture (9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 46 W.
