CONCORD, NH — Thursday was a very successful day for the U.S. Marshals Service as two fugitives were captured. Logan McCallister Graham, 26, this week's fugitive of the week, an accused child second-degree assaulter, failed to appear in superior court in August. After being featured, task force members received tips pointing to an apartment in Lebanon, according to Jeffrey Brown, a deputy marshal. "Members of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force were able to locate and arrest Graham at a residence on Spencer Street in Lebanon," White said. "Although Graham initially attempted to close the door on the task force and indicated he would not be arrested, he was quickly subdued and taken into custody." Graham was taken to the Belknap County Jail where he will be held until a future court date. "The task force continues to help our state, county and local task force partners throughout New Hampshire by seeking out and arresting fugitives that think they can avoid arrest by moving across the state or across the country," U.S. Marshal Nick Willard said. "Mr. Graham did not think anyone would find him in Lebanon, NH, but the task force proved him wrong today." According to superior court records, the incident in question occurred in February 2019 in the city of Laconia. Graham was charged with felony second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child or incompetent in April 2019. He failed to appear at a final pretrial hearing in November 2019 and the case was continued across many months. Graham also requested competency hearings and failed to appear at one on Aug. 3. Also on Thursday, marshals in New Hampshire were requested by their counterparts in Florida to check an area of Milford for Joseph Gordan, 61, who was wanted on a warrant out of Lee County on a lewd or lascivious molestation of a child between the ages of 12 and 16 charge. "After a short period of surveillance, Gordan was observed in Milford Square, where he was arrested without incident by the task force," White said. Gordan was taken to the Milford police headquarters and charged with being a fugitive from justice on the outstanding Florida warrant. Gordan will be held at the Hillsborough County Jail pending his arraignment and, eventually, he will be returned to Florida to face the charge. Along with marshals, members of the Belknap, Rockingham, and Strafford county sheriffs departments and police from Greenfield, Lebanon, and Milford police departments assisted with both cases.
