Mature/Reliable persons with own insured economical vehicle wanted! PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD before applying. These positions are Full Time / Temporary. Job begins mid October and goes through mid to late April every year. We need 100% commitment to work the entire fund drive. The position consists of delivering an envelope sized package to businesses and picking up a pre-arranged donation for local charity. You can expect to typically have 15-25 deliveries daily which equates to $500-$1000 a week depending on number of deliveries and driving distance. We cover the greater Tampa area covering an approximate 65-mile radius. HOWEVER, we work ONLY ONE area at a time, typically spending 5-10 business days in each zone. Ideal candidate will be organized, efficient and well-groomed. Candidate will also be able to smile easily and enjoy human interaction and speak clearly. Prior to being hired you will need to produce #1 - valid driver license, #2 - Social Security card or copy of Birth Certificate, #3 - 3 year MVR report, #4 - Proof of insurance in your name, #5 - Proof of vehicle registration in your name. You will also be required to obtain a state certification in Florida specific to our industry which requires being fingerprinted and passing a criminal background check.
