Culver City Crossroads October 12, 2021 The City Council of Culver City, at its meeting on October 11, 2021, proclaimed October as National Arts and Humanities Month. Council members called on our community to celebrate and promote arts and culture, and encouraged greater participation and action for the arts and humanities in our city. "National Arts and Humanities Month gives us an opportunity to celebrate and promote the unique role the arts play in society and reflect on the economic, educational and life-affirming values the arts bring to our community. Culver City's Cultural Affairs Commission honors the efforts of artists, historians, teachers and our cultural organizations who inspire and encourage each of us to make the arts and humanities a vital and necessary component of our daily lives," said Tania Fleischer, Chair, Culver City Cultural Affairs Commission. How the Culver City community can participate in National Arts and Humanities Month: Downtown Cultural Walking Tour Visit the public art in downtown Culver City with a guided audio tour and hear insight from the artists.
