TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a University of Alabama student who was last seen Tuesday has been located in Starkville, Mississippi and is safe. Lombardo was reportedly at a location near the Mississippi State University campus on Thursday, where officers with the Starkville Police Department made contact with him Thursday afternoon. TPD says he informed officers he was there to visit a friend. Lombardo's mother, according to police, spoke with officers Wednesday, saying she had not heard from him since a phone call around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
