Description
Exploring Components that will be Important and Acceptable to a Family-Based Intervention for Families with a Child Diagnosed with a Chronic Illness
We need parents who are at least 18 years old who have a child diagnosed with a Chronic Illness to participate in a research project that only involves answering some questions.
This project is trying to determine what to include in a family-based intervention to improve the quality of life of children with chronic illnesses.
If you decide to join the project, you will be asked to:
• Schedule a meeting with the study coordinator via a secure zoom link.
• Complete online survey questions that take approximately 45-60.
• Answer questions about what you believe would be beneficial and useful for families with children diagnosed with a chronic illness.
• Meet with a trained interviewer via Zoom for 30 minutes to complete an interview about your childhood experiences.
This project is conducted by Nicole Kubinec, M.P.H. and
Sarah Erickson, Ph.D. from UNM.
