Astro is a 2.5 year old, 40 lb, male Australian Cattle dog/Border Collie mix (we think?), that is house trained and crate trained. Astro would make a great running, hiking or biking buddy, he has the need for speed and is an active boy. He can also chill, he isn’t destructive in the foster home when left alone, and loves belly rubs, toys he can chew, and both men and women, though not children (they scare him and he would do best with no small kids). Astro is good with other dogs, but can be bossy, so he would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He is very smart, treat motivated (easy to train!) and loves to learn new things. If you are looking for an active, loving companion that has the ‘big dog look’ in a 40 lb package, Astro might be the pup for you!
