TL;DR: Guitar driven roots rock trio looking for a shredding bass player that’s cool to hang with, wants to write and occasionally travel. Both of us are mid 30s, have day jobs, families, and other responsibilities. You are a pro player who’s looking for a band to create original material with. You dig playing cover gigs. But, you’ve got a body of work to grow and songwriting is something you’re feeling the need to do. You are groove and energy driven. You can take initiative and glue a wild guitar player back to earth when they take off and need a safe landing. You can laugh it off if it all crashes. We are a forward thinking roots rock, Americana, power trio. We aim for the sounds of JD McPherson, Social Distortion, The Hold Steady, Johnny Cash, All The Hank Williams, Strat Cats, The Living End, Danny Gatton, The Ventures, and Chet Atkins. We are aiming for an evolving sound. Started as a rockabilly band but found ourselves feeling stifled as our musical tastes and goals lay somewhere closer to 80’s and 90’s than the 50’s. We have an EP out and more material approaching the final stages. We play out 3-5 times a month during the summer. Write and create video content for social media (YouTube, FB, Insta) during the cold months. In prior years we have aimed to do weekend road trip gig every quarter. Hoping to get out there again. Our last player has bowed out for family commitments.
