Description
The above photo is the veterans memorial in Grande Ronde, Oregon.
If you are a vet of any age, and have questions about benefits, homeless services, financial assistance, how to buy a home, etc. please feel free to contact me.
I honorably served 6 years in the U.S. Army. I have been in the system for over 17 years, and have been helping vets on my own for over 12 years. I now volunteer for the Oregon Dept. of Veterans Affairs (we are the ones who HELP you GET benefits), I also volunteer for my local VSO in Dallas (veterans service office).
Don't go spending your money on attorney fees! Attorneys are not allowed to charge you any initial fees! Plus, they will end up getting a big chunk of your money if approved by the V.A. that they don't deserve.
Don't tell yourself that you think someone else deserves it more, or you are saving the money for another vet.
You served! You don't have to have been in combat to get disability, and your benefits NEVER stop (if discharged under honorable conditions) just because of your age, or situation. If you are homeless, there are ways for you to get help. If you are the child of, or the surviving spouse of a vet who didn't make it home, let us help you.
It's tough enough out there. I'll be glad to contact, chat/meet when/where possible..
Please be advised that due to spammers, I won't answer to texts or return phone numbers on initial contact. I'd like to get some basic information about your service time, and what you are looking for with the V.A. before I give out any personal information.
You have choices.
Believe in yourself
