Having great people skills and a can-do attitude is a must. Be willing and able to take direction from the community manager. We require adherence to policies and procedures established by company. Must be trustworthy, honest, and willing to get your hands dirty. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED Leadership experience Maintenance background: Swimming pools, buildings, landscaping, electric, plumbing, and sewer systems. Ability to speak read and write English, Bilingual is a plus Strong customer service skills Able to complete company training requirements for the position ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage small team of 3 maintenance personnel. Always represent property in a positive and professional manner at all times. Maintenance will be the greater part of duties with some clerical work. Work with the community manager and maintenance staff to coordinate workloads. Ensure all safety requirements are adhered to while using company tools and equipment. Heavy lifting is required. Able to work long hours when needed, and be on call as directed by manager. Assist office manager with clerical duties as needed. Interact with residents and contractors as described by manager. Able to make emergency repairs to water and plumbing systems as needed, and assist electrical contractors by providing parts as needed. Plan and execute landscaping, grounds, swimming pool, building maintenance and all general maintenance schedules.
