Dancin Soul Boutique and Continuum are partnering this fall to host their inaugural Dancin in The Village. This dance film contest is an opportunity for young dancers, choreographers and filmmakers to collaborate and create work that highlights hidden gems in Carlsbad Village. When: November 4th - November 14th Nov 4 | Pre-production meeting with participants Nov 5-6 | Participants create dance film Nov 7 | Dance Films Due Nov 9-12 | Virtual Screening for People's Choice Award Nov 14 | Virtual Screening of top 3 dance films and Judges' Choice announced Sign up here: Contest Guidelines: - must be high school or college age to participate - film has to include a site specific location in Carlsbad Village - film must be submitted by 11:59pm Sunday, November 7th to be adjudicated - participants can work individually or with a partner - footage must be shot in 1080p or greater - film must be uploaded and delivered via dropbox or wetransfer - music needs to be royalty free. - dance film must be between 1:30 and 2:30 minutes in length
