Cramer Construction is looking for a laborer who wants to learn all aspects of home remodeling and finish carpentry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with no prior experience who wants to start a lifelong career in construction. This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is needed! We are looking for a quick-learner who is hardworking, reliable and always on-time. Pay will start off at $18 per hour or more, depending on experience (DOE). As your skills advance, your pay will increase. You will learn drywalling, painting, tile setting, flooring, framing, millwork and finish carpentry - among other things. You must be willing to get your hands dirty. Along with general construction work, some of your tasks will include: demolition, site clean-up, heavy-lifting and picking up and transporting materials. You must have your own vehicle (truck or van preferred, but not necessary). Most work will be located in Thurston, Pierce and Mason county. The position will start off as a part-time job (2-3 days per week) and expand to a full-time position as your skills improve.
