Anderson Electric Controls is a manufacturer of motor controls and power electronics. We are looking for a full-time shipping and receiving person. If you have any knowledge of the electrical industry, such as manufacturers, parts sources, industry procurement practices ect., this is a plus. You need to be detail oriented and able to quickly shift gears in different directions and tasks. You would be responsible for: preparing and scheduling in and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, documenting damages, obtain and process product orders, distributing packages, maintain inventory area through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis, schedule large shipments and plan logistics, keep files, troubleshoot and handle issues that may arise, ensure adherence to environmental management and systems, packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large products, making shipping labels and verifying each item on the packing slip is correct in the shipment.
