Construction Yard Worker Job Type: Full-time Compensation: DOE Immediate opening for an entry-level Parts Runner / Yard Worker. Possible opportunities for advancement in vehicle/equipment repair or construction trade. Knowledge of the Las Vegas area a plus but not required. Must have current Driver's License with a clean DMV record. Applicant must pass interview process and pre-employment drug screening. Duties • Deliver and make parts, and material runs for shop, as directed • Load and unload materials on trucks • Empty garbage bins • Maintain the restroom, hand towels, toilet paper, keep walls, windows sinks and floors clean • Maintain the cleanliness of the yard • Keep floor clean from any debris that comes off equipment • Keep ground free of tire hazards, i.e. nails, welding rods, etc. • Fabricate and build materials for shop as well as field use • Wipe down fuel pumps and sweep pump area weekly • Clean up oil spills in yard immediately • Work as directed by yard supervisor Qualifications: • Driver's License with clean driving record • High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to lift 10-50 pounds frequently • Ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally • Ability to sit and stand for 8-10 hrs. per day • Company provides post-offer, pre-employment drug screening Education: • High school or equivalent License: • Driver's License
