2000 Industries Group is looking for a Warehouse Loader for our Haltom Location. HOURS are Monday - Friday: 7 am - 4 pm and every other Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm **We accommodate walk-in interviews** M-F 7 am-1 pm 5913 Eden Dr. Haltom City, Tx 76117 Compensation: Starting at $14.50 Employment type: Full-Time JOB SUMMARY: Ability to understand all aspects of shipping and loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision to accomplish job duties. Working with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and inside/outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner. Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand. Loads and unloads customers, flatbeds. Move and organize inventory. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS - Weekly Pay Checks - Medical, Dental and Vision benefits after 60 days - 8 Paid Holiday per calendar year after 60 days. - Bonus incentive after the completion of 6 full working months. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Loads and unload customer's trucks and company flatbeds. 2. Comply with all company OHSA regulated safety codes. 3. Must be detail oriented. 4. Moves and Lifts heavy objects by hand (between 50 to 100 pounds) or with power equipment. 5. Picking orders - receives picking tickets and determines bin & location 6. Inspects orders for completeness before shipping 7. Helping team members maintain a clean, organized floor 8. Stages product on pallets, shrink wraps to prevent loss, and loads pallets on trucks. 9. Keeps work area clean to avoid potential accidents and to allow for rapid loading. 10. Works in a safe manner following all safety procedures, rules and regulations. 11. Performs all other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Ability to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding constant changes in temperatures for long periods of time - Lift and carry a minimum of 50-100 pounds repeatedly throughout shift - Handle the movement of freight by using non-motorized equipment or other means of transport within a warehouse - Ability to review and comprehend requirements of packing list which determine number of material per customer order - Confirm count of pallets and/or cases as listed on Packing List/Delivery Ticket/Purchase Orders. - Clear speaking and attentive listening skills - Motivated to train and learn - Desire to go above and beyond the Job Description - Desire to be part of a fun and energetic team - Pre-employment drug screen and background check - Must be available to work weekends - Bilingual (Spanish-English) - Forklift Experience (1 year) Preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Previous forklift experience is preferred. Will train the right candidate Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
