Hello everyone, My name is Mike and I am hosting a Chicago Blues jam October 18th on the northside of Chicago. We've been going strong now for a month and it is so much fun. We have had great Chicago Blues players come in and perform such as Pete Galanis on Guitar, Rick King on Drums, Dionte McMusick on Drums, Recording artist Omar Coleman, silky smooth Nate Manos and so much more. I want to invite all music listeners and blues lovers to come to this event. Great music, the kitchen has some great food. Empanadas, Pizza, Stuffed Macaroni Bites, and they are known for their Chicken wings. Beer bucket specials too. This event is free, there is no mimimum purchase. My goal is to make this event a place for the locals to come, see some of the younger working blues musicians on the scene and have a good time. The house band is very welcoming. If you play an instrument and love the blues. I wholeheartedly invite you to sign up on our sign up sheet at the jam... and I will definitely call you up. I invite all levels too. From the beginners to the masters. This is a safe place. Its important to me that everyone feels safe and knows that musicians are all on their own journey. Mistakes happen all the time. Even after 8 years of performing professionally in New Orleans I still make mistakes. So come on by, make some mistakes, make some friends, play and hear some music, eat some great food, and grab a drink and enjoy this early monday night blues jam. Its at PL LOUNGE 3456 N. Pulaski Rd, Chicago IL from 730pm to 1030pm (sometimes we start at 8 if people are still coming in. No cover, no entry fee, no minimum drinks. No pressure!! Come in, its laid back and enjoy yourself.
