Trailer Mechanic Trainee RSS Mobile Trailer Repair has been serving the transportation industry since 1994. We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic Trainee to help perform semi-trailer repairs and maintenance in the Southgate, MI area. Get paid while getting trained for a great career! We will train the right person. No experience necessary. We are looking for a hard-worker who wants to learn and will be at work every day. Must have some mechanical ability. Mechanic Trainee Responsibilities: Work side-by-side with a Trailer Mechanic. Help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers - keeping trailers in compliance with DOT safety standards. Essential tasks will include changing brakes, tires, electrical work and fabrication. Service truck and tools supplied by RSS. Full Time / Year-Round outdoor work. Complete Benefits package including medical, dental, Rx, Life Insurance. Paid holidays and vacations. Employer contributing 401K package. $15-$17/hour Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonus Requirements: Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Ability to pass a DOT physical.
