Walk & Wag Chapel Hill is seeking motivated, responsible, hard working pet lovers to provide pet sitting and dog walking services in Chapel Hill/Carrboro, North Carolina. REQUIREMENTS: Please read the following questions before you apply Do you live in Chapel Hill or Carrboro, North Carolina? (Nearby Durham neighborhoods considered) Are you at least 21 years old? Do you have a valid driver's license, a reliable car, and car insurance? Can you make at least a one-year commitment to a contract role? Are you fully vaccinated for COVID-19? Are you willing to undergo a national criminal background check? If you answered YES to the above questions, please keep reading! OUR IDEAL APPLICANT: You love animals and feel comfortable around all types You have some pet care experience (professional is great; personal is okay) You are physically able to walk all types of dogs (large & small, all breeds) You can be on your feet and moving for 30-60 minutes at a time You're very organized and flexible, and you prefer to manage your own schedule You are reliable, trustworthy, and punctual You have great communication skills (with clients and fellow team members) You have regular access to the internet (smartphone preferred) MORE ABOUT THIS ROLE: Team members make their own schedules by agreeing to pet sitting services, working weekdays and weekends on a regular basis. Team members must be available to work at least one major holiday per year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Years).
