The Yakima Housing Authority is seeking a full-time Temporary Seasonal Groundskeeper/Laborer. Responsibilities: weeding, fertilizing; pruning/trimming trees and shrubs; litter control; recycling activities; sprinkler irrigation/maintenance; snow/ice removal; operation of various motor-operated equipment and hand tools. Requirements: knowledge of various types of equipment including standard safety and storage practices related to their operation; valid Washington State driver’s license with good driving record. Desirable Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; one year experience in the care and maintenance of grounds.
