Description
To be a Republican today, you must adhere to the delusional rantings of a man who lost the election by 7 million votes.
Trump lost not only the popular vote, he also lost the electoral college as well.
The popular vote was: Biden 81,268,924 to Trump's 74,216,154
In the Electoral College, Biden secured the presidency with 306 electoral votes to Trump's 232. To win the presidency, a candidate must secure 270 votes (a majority) in the College.
"Wait, wait", Republicans clammer, "What about the extraordinary and "illegal" absentee voting that occurred during the run-up to the November 3rd election date? Well, the state governors, along with the individual secretary of state's in those jurisdictions, made a decision to use EmergencyPowers vis-a-vis the Covid-19 Pandemic as allowed for in either the state constitution or election laws of the various states noted. Trump, through and by his attorneys, has argued continuously since November 7th (the date the election was called by the decision desk at the Associated Press) that those laws should be ignored in this exigency. Of the 61 court cases that have been filed in this matter, ZERO have held for the plaintiff (Donald J. Trump).
What does this say? That Trump should be president even though a majority of Americans think he is unqualified to be president? Is that democracy, or is that a shift towards authoritarianism?
Trump doesn't want to be President of the United States...rather, Trump wants to be King of the Americas! Debate that!!!
