Company Description: Vonco Medical provides high quality new and reconditioned equipment to physical therapy and athletic training clinic with unbeatable customer service. Purpose of the Job: The purpose of the Service Technician is to repair, install, service and/or calibrate electronic and mechanical physical therapy equipment in order to keep our customers units in service and billable. Position Details: The service tech will work with the Service Manager to make sure they have sufficient training on the equipment before they begin service work. The expectation is the Service Tech be proactive in finding solutions. Timeliness The Service Tech will begin every day that they are on a service call by arriving at the fixed time the appointment is scheduled. After the first appointment of the day all future appointments will be schedule with a “window” of no more than 2 hours. If the technician is unable to make the appointment within the timeframe they are responsible for contacting the service coordinator so they can reach out to the customer. Quality and Profitability The service tech logs all data required; travel time and mileage, on-site time and closing out when the job is completed. Focus on getting the job completed with as few trips as possible. Provides quality work and limit the number of times re-work is required Quota of service calls completed will be achieved on a monthly basis. Preparation All tools and related parts to complete the service call will be on the service vehicle prior to the tech leaving the office Position will be contract for first 30 days. Upon 30 days the candidate will be evaluated for a full time position. Full Time Employment includes availability to medical, dental, and vision insurance from day 1, and company profit sharing program. Typical Schedule: 8AM TO 5PM but may change due to scheduled service calls. Some travel is required
