Job description Facilities Maintenance and HVAC helper Technician. Full time hourly position, reporting to HVAC manager. Office hours 7:00am to 3:30PM 30-minute break. Monday through Friday with some weekends required. Pay range $15 -$25 All maintenance employees are required to clock in via www.timesheets.com AND call the office when they arrive at their first location for the day. A HVAC Technician/ Facilities Maintenance is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered to keep facility running efficiently. A HVAC Technician /Facility maintenance will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include: Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door, or wall repair Operating variety of hand tools Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly Preforming preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Maintaining records and daily activities Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed Ability to work with minimum supervision.
