Location: Salt Lake City, UT ResponsAble Safety Staffing is one of the few agencies in the country that specialize in industrial safety staffing. Our company provides a level of thoroughness, personal attention, and training that no regular staffing agency, or safety consultancy can provide. The CSA/Fire Watch personnel may be cross-trained and considered as qualified of performing regulatory required confined space attendant and fire watch duties/responsibilities. Personnel will also perform basic safety observations and housekeeping as needed. AREAS OF EXPERTISE: • Knowledge of hazards that may be faced during a permit required confined space entry • The signs, symptoms and consequences of the exposure • Usage of atmospheric monitoring equipment • Types and use of fire extinguishing equipment • Knowledge of emergency response • Airline respirators and compressed breathing air use • Effective communication and organizational skills • Exhibits positivity, passion, integrity and responsibility CAREER HISTORY: At least 1 year of relevant work experience within an industrial environment: • Permit-required confined spaces (OSHA 1910.146) • Welding, cutting and brazing (OSHA 1910.252) • Respiratory protection (OSHA 1910.134) • Hazard Communication and chemical safety • Electrical safety related work practices • Elevated work • Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) TRAINING: • Confined Space reciprocal training course • Fire Watch reciprocal training course
