Vessel Ready is hiring in Stuart, Florida. We are looking for experienced boat builders and marine technicians to join our team. We build beautiful Open Mold/Infused boats ranging from 20-32Ft. We operate in an assembly line style fashion in a great shop with a disciplined work ethic. We take pride in our quality and craftsmanship and our boats are second to none. Applicants with experience in one or more areas of the boat building process are preferred. Applicants must be familiar with basic tools as well as be able to assist with lifting and moving heavy objects. Pay level is dependent on experience. The positions needing to be filled are as follows. Production Manager - Must have experience managing a boat building facility with multiple departments and employees. Must be fluent in chemical and material knowledge. Leadership and communication skills are necessary. Must be able to track and order inventory. Training for our specific boats and procedures will be provided. Fiberglass Lamination Technician - Working knowledge of resins, mold wax's, and bonding putty, operate MVP Resin and/or Gelcoat gun, cut/lay/roll fiberglass, mold prep and repair. Infusion knowledge and experience is highly preferred but not necessary (packing the mold, bagging and setting feed lines). Assembly Technician - Working carpentry knowledge, ability to operate heavy machinery and use assorted power tools and fasteners. Rigging Technician - Strong electronics knowledge, neat and organized wiring skills, Console/Hardtop rigging and mounting, ability to operate heavy machinery and use assorted power tools and fasteners.
