Rehoming 2 cockatiels

Looking for a great home for our two domesticated cockatiels, Rosie and Dusty both females. Dusty is 5 years old and Rosie is 12 years old. Both are healthy and no past medical issues. The are very social and must be with someone/a family who will want and be able to interact with the birds on a daily basis. While they are "couch birds" and spend most of their time perched on top of their cage or a chair near a window, they do not like being locked up inside the cage all day or left alone. They crave human interaction. They are both very interested in what their humans do around the house, especially anything to do with a meal preparation in the kitchen. Dusty will happily follow you around the house on your shoulder for hours. Rosie might even join you in the shower! Rosie is more observant, careful and independent. Dusty is more playful, loves head rubs and grooming. The only reason we are considering rehoming our birds is due to the arrival of a new puppy. In order to keep Rosie and Dusty safe we find that we have to keep them in their cage most of the day and this is distressing to them. We would rather find them a loving home who can offer them the freedom and attention they have been used to. There will be a rehoming fee involved, the large cage, toys food, all associated items will be included.
