Immediate Opportunity!!! Hiring Now!!! Mann Wireless makes cell phones and emergency responder radios work in buildings. We are looking for someone who wants to start building a career as an RF/ Low Voltage Technician. You must want to be a road warrior (this means that you'll be living in a hotel room Monday-Friday and food expenses are paid for while traveling) but you will only be home on weekends. Must be handy with tools, a good problem solver and really enjoy physical work (you will be moving, lifting, climbing all day long). We will teach you about cabling, RF Theory, code requirements, testing and many other aspects of wireless rf work in the telecommunications field! Great benefits and paid time off package! Your initial responsibilities will include: • Install, terminate and test low voltage cables • Read blueprints • Load and unload materials and equipment from vans • Maintain excellent "house-keeping" at job sites • Provide general help and assistance related to installations and wherever needed • Follow safety policies and procedures Requirements: HS degree or equivalent. Trade or other technical education helpful. Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal). Basic computer skills. Comfortable and able to work at heights (ladders, lifts and roofs). Must be able to lift 80 lbs unassisted. Must be able to walk, lift, carry and bend for 8-10 hour shifts. Must be able to drive and to ride for 5 or more hours. Must have a clean drivers' license. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen. Must possess unrestricted work authorization for the US.
