We are looking for a Full Time, experienced and highly driven mechanic.. Primary Purpose: Perform mechanical repairs to ensure proper performance and safety of company vehicles. Work on projects assigned, follow established procedures. An individual in this position will complete a wide range of vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance. Performance Responsibilities: - Perform a broad range of mechanical tasks from minor tune-ups, brake replacements, brake systems etc. - Perform work on Diesel engines - Perform diagnosis of fuel systems to include fuel injections, computerized components, etc. - Large truck and machine repair - Responsible for filing reports of work accomplished - Small equipment repairs - Responsible for ongoing scheduling inspection of all safety systems and analyze each vehicle for need of potential repairs - Follow work instructions as assigned by supervisor - Mount and computer balance tires - Mandatory overtime required, as needed during the winter months Qualifications: Education/Certification: Valid New Jersey driver’s license Minimum 2 years mechanic experience Working Conditions: Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
