Description

Join us to peruse the world of Syrah: Washington and worldwide! We all know Washington makes a pretty darn good Syrah, but there is beautiful Syrah beyond our borders (we know, we know...). Come to class and learn all about the French grape that captured the world's attention - from France to Australia and beyond! Class goers will receive tastes of 5 Syrahs from all over the world, bread and butter (palate cleansers, naturally) as well as class materials and lecture by Liz Moss Woerman. Tickets are $35 for wine club (email [email protected] to get on the list) or $40 for non-wine club, which you can purchase here on Event Brite! Food will be available to pre-order one week before the class. We hope to see you there! Barnard Griffin began in 1983 with borrowed grapes and a rented cellar. It has since become one of Washington’s most enduring and award-winning wineries. At the helm then and now is one of the most experienced winemakers in Washington State, Rob Griffin. In addition to the winery production facility, the Richland campus is home to a tasting room, full service restaurant and fused glass art studio.
