Smokey- Joe is literally the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. Smokey’s first owner passed away, and was taken in by a family member who loved him very much. Sadly, for personal reasons that he cannot control, his owner is no longer able to care for him. We’ve had Smokey for a few weeks trying to find him a home for his past owner, and people have truly overlooked this sweet little baby. We did not plan to keep him this long, and cannot keep him much longer, as much as we would love to. Smokey is the sweetest baby with soft fur and beautiful green- blue eyes. We estimate him middle aged, 3-8 years, but he’s still lively and nimble. This poor baby has been down on his luck and needs help from a loving new family or person. He’s completely litter trained, never scratches, not even in baths, and loves being a cuddle bug as much as he can. He’s adventurous too and enjoys exploring. He is amazing with kids, as pictured he allowed our 2 year old to snuggle him and continues to, even if she gets a little too rough. He’s good with other cats and can be adjusted to dogs. He had dogs in his previous home, but has not gotten used to ours yet. He hasn’t sprayed and doesn’t rip up the couch, he’s an amazing kitty. He loves giving kisses and will purr from the first pet if he loves you, which I know he will if you’re serious about wanting this sweet baby. Please, if you can, help make this sweet kitty yours. The safe animal shelter is full and this is far longer than we planned to keep him. We love him and the last thing we want to do is put him in the pound, but as time passes we’re running out of options. He truly is amazing and will no doubt become a light in your life. There is a $10 dollar rehoming fee to make sure he goes to a safe home. He will come with some of his food and his litter box. We love him like he was our own, so please only message if you’re serious. Questions about him are allowed if you’re not 100% sure, but he needs a good home as fast as possible. However, please don’t hesitate if you can’t get him for a few days. As long as we’ve secured a good home, we can try to wait if it’s what we have to do, although meeting sooner would be a blessing.
