To support social distancing, we ask that ONLY kids that have registered for the class enter the studio during class time. Can I join my child in class? Children ages 10 and under can be accompanied by ONE parent for FREE to act as their sous-chef. What are you doing to support COVID? We're following state guidelines. We're also disinfecting all supplies and materials between classes. Everyone that enters the studio must wear a mask. We're also limiting our class size. This is a very small class. *Please stay home if you're feeling sick, have allergies or have been exposed to anyone that has tested positive for COVID in the past 2 weeks. My kids have food allergies, can they still participate? This class does contain gluten. So, if that's a concern, this may not be the best class for your child. This class will not contain any nuts or pork products. As you know, we love veggies and make them taste fantastic! We can accommodate dairy-free pizza lovers too! When you register, just let us know if you need any substitutions. Who is Healthy Little Cooks and how can I get more involved? Healthy Little Cooks is a community-centered program that uses food to teach nutrition. Our classes have impacted over 60,000 children and families in 8 countries. Our classes help parents, caregivers and teachers raise Healthy Little Cooks and believe all families should have fun cooking together regardless of their income or ethnicity. So, to help with this, we find sponsors that believe in our work so we can keep our classes affordable. Our desire to serve also means that we do our best to engage those that typically don't get opportunities to experience awesome things like hands-on cooking classes. With that said, our team is small and we welcome volunteers! So, please let us know if you'd like to help teach, pack food bags, want to share your favorite healthy cultural recipes, or can help us on social media (ugh, our achilles heel). Just contact us at [email protected] When should I arrive to your classes? Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for your class so we can start on time!
