Come to the farm to relax, make a craft, and have some fun! We will learn how to paint a beautiful birch tree scene on canvas! Whether you are a young chick or an "old hen", come to the Farm for a fun night of creativity!“Beautiful Birch Trees” Join us for this fun and easy 2-hour workshop and create your own forest of sunlit birch trees, against a crisp, blue sky. Enjoy watching a live demonstration by Worthington artist, Julie Ricketts, and receive step-by-step instructions, with room to be creative…perfect for a beginner, or any level of painter! Refreshments make the evening relaxing and special - come alone or with a group of friends or your family. We will have all the supplies and refreshments here ready for you! So grab your sisters, mommas, friends and neighbors and make a night of it!About the artist:Julie Ricketts Julie graduated from Miami University in 1982, with a degree in Fine Art, worked for a short time as a graphic artist in an advertising firm in Dallas, then began a career of free lance graphics and watercolor painting in 1986, after moving to Columbus, Ohio. Her work has included many “house portrait” commissions, art shows, street fairs, and “paint out” competitions. In 2010, Julie began teaching a few students, which provided her with opportunities to grow in new areas and realize a new purpose. Her acrylic paintings and workshops are the result of this season and have been such a blessing to her. She hopes all who come to her workshops will feel welcome, have a fun and relaxing time, and will be surprised how well they can paint! Harvest Hills Ministries has the purpose of providing programs and events that will strengthen youth and families and their faith, encourage community, and grow relationships with Jesus Christ through experiences in a fun, natural, farm setting.
