2021 FoundRising benefit party for global clean water access Join us for an evening of live music & local artists, dancing, art, and inspiration. Bring your friends and make some new ones. Fort Greene will be serving the good libations all night with Koi & Ninja slinging the food. 100% of the proceeds go to support clean water projects and local musicians. These past 18 months have been difficult for our local community, as well as the global one. This event is to rally our local community to support clean water scarcity in Uganda's impoverished communities. The pandemic has been tough for most of us but even more so for our global friends who have had no safety net to fall back on and limited access to clean water when sanitation and hygiene are so critically important. FoundRising is short for Foundation Rising and we focus on addressing the basic needs of vulnerable rural communities. Our main focus is establishing and restoring sustainable clean water access and improving the sanitation and hygiene of these water sources. Our model is a bit different - our organization is powered by talented young professionals in Uganda where they are the faces of change in their local communities. Our US personnel donate their time and effort to support our talented Uganda staff! We are all about giving Ugandans jobs as well as clean water! Kids are free and families are welcome before 7:30 pm. Can't make it but still want to support the cause? FoundRising is a registered affiliate of Servants International.
