A & A Window Products, Inc is looking for someone to join our team as a Driver/Shop Laborer. Daily responsibilities will vary depending on the immediate needs of the organization. When driving responsibilities are not required, the Driver/Shop Laborer will assist in receiving product shipments, organizing storage areas and stocking material. In 1974, we expanded our services to include full-scale window replacements and repairs, curtain walls, architectural panels, and specialty glazing. About the Position Qualified candidates will have experience driving light trucks (20’ non-cdl box truck) making pickups and deliveries and a great sense of direction and experience navigating in and around the Greater Boston area. The Driver/Shop Laborer must have good interpersonal skills and an ability to juggle and prioritize tasks on the go. Responsibilities: Driving • Delivery of materials/equipment to job sites • Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles • Maintain good records such as vehicle logs • Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to management Laborer • Receive product shipments, following proper quality control and documentation procedures • Store product in appropriate storage locations • General shop maintenance • Inventory Job Requirements: • Clean driving record and good vision • At least 2 years of light truck experience • Experience with a pallet jack, dollies and other light relocation equipment • Great communication skills • Good attitude • Dependable • Able to obtain DOT medical card Job Benefits: • Union environment • Great pay • Advancement opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package To be considered for this position, please submit a resume in PDF or Word format.
