Join this new monthly community event, bringing people together for a thought-provoking film and respectful conversation. The Piedmont Film Club's first monthly showing features Sir David Attenborough's A Life on Our Planet. Chris Miller, President of the Piedmont Environmental Council, will introduce the film. While most of our screenings will be ones that cannot be "streamed" at home, this film is considered important enough to be the Club's first choice. And how much better it will be on a big screen! "A broadcaster recounts his life, and the evolutionary history of life on Earth, to grieve the loss of wild places and offer a vision for the future." A food truck will be available in the Grace The Plains parking lot starting at 5 p.m. The film will begin at 6 p.m. Weather permitting, we will be watching outside. All Covid precautions will be in place. We look forward to seeing you and your friends! Born from the success of the annual Doc5 Middleburg Film Festival (third one to be held May 17-21), the Piedmont Film Club will meet once a month, generally on the third Thursday of each month, to show a movie selected to have an impact.
