Attention players. The next game is about to begin. Carve out a shape from a piece of candy without breaking it and win a cash prize. How does the game work? Each player will randomly choose from one of four Dalgona candy shapes: circle, triangle, star and umbrella. Equipped with only a needle, you will have 10 minutes to carve out the shape or break the outer edges with your hands or mouth. But beware! If the inner shape cracks or breaks at any point during the round, you will be eliminated from the game. (Don't worry, you won't be killed off.) $5 cash will be added to the piggy bank for each player who is eliminated from the game. The winners of the game will split the pot equally among themselves. The total prize money will depend on the total number of winners for each round. What Are the Rules? 1. All shapes will be randomly chosen by the players. Once you are assigned a shape, you may not switch shapes with another player. 2. You may only use the needle and your own body parts to carve out your shape. Any players caught using illegal tools (lighters, etc.) will be eliminated from the game. 3. Winners must remove the inner shape from the tin and present a complete, intact, inner shape without cracks or breaks to the judges to be determined a winner. 4. The judges' determination is final. What is Dalgona? Dalgona is South Korean, brittle, honeycomb-like, sweet made from carmelized sugar. Is Dalgona edible? The Dalgona you will receive is for playing only.
