Hello everyone, Regretfully I am looking to find a new home for my beautiful turtles. I am traveling quite a bit now and will be away for indefinite periods of time and can no longer care for them the way they need to be cared for. They are very precious creatures to me and am having a hard time letting them go. I would like someone who loves them as much as me to care for them. These are Southern Painted turtles and I bought them specifically because of their size. They do not get big. I've had them for about 7 years and believe they are now fully grown. One is about 4-5 inches and the other is about 4 inches. Females are said to not get bigger than 5-6 with males not getting bigger than 4.
