Description
Three of the best independent comedians in the country in one night! BRANDIE POSEY Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Brandie Posey is a stand up comedian, writer and producer who now calls LA's comedy scene home. She has been featured as a performer at the Bentzen Ball, New York Comedy Festival, RIOT Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, FEST in Gainesville, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, High Plains in Denver, among many others. She has opened for all of your favorite comics, including Kyle Kinane, Maria Bamford and the legendary punk band Against Me! Brandie has appeared on MTV, E! and Comedy Central. She made her feature film debut in the indie dark comedy, "The Worst Year Of My Life" directed by Jonathan Smith and her first stand up record Opinion Cave debuted at #1 on iTunes & #12 on Billboard.com. Brandie’s comedic style has been described as a “Riot Grrl on acid”. KEVIN CASEY WHITE Described by the Chicago Tribune as “A physical expression of an exclamation point,” Kevin Casey White is a cheerful cynic with a dynamic stage presence. Most recently featured on Audible’s The Comedy Show Show with Will Arnett, Arnett praised Kevin’s “Fair, unbiased wit.” for Kevin’s hosting of his hit podcast Arguments & Grievances, which has received rave reviews from Chicago Magazine, The Laugh Button, won “Best Variety Show” from The Reader, and been featured in several festivals such as Limestone and The Comedy Exposition. ANNA VALENZUELA Anna Valenzuela has a radiant smile that’s wonderfully at odds with her dark material. A trained black-belt, she’s fought her way to the top of LA’s competitive stand-up scene with sheer force of will and killer jokes. She can easily roast the audience, other comics, and herself with equal aplomb. Anna’s skills earned her a spot on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, where she emotionally destroyed her opponents while maintaining her balance in kitten heels. This is going to be one helluva show! $10 at the door only. Brad Stewart began his comedy career shortly after moving to Los Angeles from Nebraska in 1995 and winning 1st place in comedy contest. He beat out hundreds of comedians to win $500. Brad used it to register his car in California. Since that time Brad has performed at many different clubs and theaters all over the country to rave reviews. From The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City, Brad has entertained many diverse audiences with his high energy, observational style of humor. In early 2010 Brad had the honor of becoming a favorite opening act for comedy legend Joan Rivers. Joan said Brad is "so talented and a joy to work with" Brad has also opened for The Temptations, Jon Lovitz, Keith Sweat, Rob Schneider, The O'Jays, Barry Manilow, and 80's rockers Loverboy. In 2012 Brad was picked by TV Icon Marlo Thomas as a "Comedian to Watch" for the Huffington Post. Brad's comedy is a mix of his observations about life and his love/hate relationship with pop culture. Music is a big love of Brad's and a lot of his comedy comes from his frustrations with the state of popular music which should be relatable to anyone with ears.
