Description

Join us as we share the oys and joys of being a new parent. (0-5 years) (New Parents) (Jewish Parenting) Do you have a new baby? Does your friend have a new baby? Come on your own or bring your friend to schmooze and share tips with other parents of newborns. This group is for babies born December through September and their parents. We will have an icebreaker or two and a few minutes to talk about building a Jewish home for your growing family. The rest of the time we will spend socializing. Share the joys and oys of being a new parent. JBN SF Program Manager Jeni Markowitz Clancy will help facilitate the playgroup. Every participant receives a JBN Shalom Baby Bag if you don’t already have one! Street parking available. Meet us on the lawn at Mother's Meadow in GGP. Please bring your own blanket and feel free to bring a picnic lunch. Water bottles and light individually wrapped snacks will be provided. RSVPs appreciated but not required. Cosponsored by Sherith Israel and Or Shalom. This program made possible in part by a grant from the Leslie Family Foundation and the Natan Giving Circle. Major Funding provided by the Koret Foundation and the Rodan Family Foundation. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi abled, and LGBTQ families. We have over 1000 connected families and are growing. Join us! This event is free, but please consider a $10 donation to help support all of our wonderful programs. We know babies can be unpredictable, so please show up when you can! Jewish Baby Network is a program of Jewish Family and Children's Services' Center for Children and Youth. Jewish Baby Network is creating a pluralistic community in the SF Bay Area where families of all kinds learn, share, and celebrate together. We bring together families with children aged 0-36 months (big siblings always welcome!) to connect with each other and the larger Jewish community. We're proud to be a program of JFCS' Center for Children and Youth, which offers comprehensive parenting support from birth through young adulthood, guided by our Jewish values. Jewish Baby Network welcomes everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ families. Visit jewishbabynetwork.org to learn more!
