We invite local employers to tour our U.S. Colleges Montclair Campus and learn about the ELDT program and partnership opportunities!
U.S. Colleges Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) program was established to provide aspiring truck drivers, bus drivers, delivery service drivers, and the like with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully earn a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) from the California DMV. This program can be completed in as few as 4 weeks.
Our truck driving school will have students focus on theory instruction aimed towards earning their Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) as well as other endorsements required in the operation of commercial combination vehicles (i.e., air brakes, commercial tankers, hazmat, etc.). Once students receive their CLP, they will have the opportunity to practice and hone their driving and maneuvering skills through 20 hours of hands-on, behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction in a big rig and prepare them for their CDL exam. Taught by experienced industry Class A drivers, you can be confident in the training provided and be able to start a new career as a licensed Class A CDL driver upon completion
