to the pets that need a new home

I see so many posts about people having to heartbreakingly give up their pets due to personal reasons. I know I can't save every animal I see, but I can do my best to help. I'm studying to be a vet technician at Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) with our class of juniors and seniors. So far we have had a few people approach us through a student looking to find their pet a new home. Miraculously enough, we have found homes for every one. Two dogs whose owners couldn't keep them, an elderly cat in need of younger owners, a kitten who was found stray, and a litter of puppies who were threatened with being thrown to the street have all found their homes. If it's the best I can do to help them, let me tell your pet's story to our class and maybe, somewhere nearby is their home waiting for them. Please email me if you need to rehome an animal urgently. We have plenty of students willing to foster, as well. We may not be veterinarians or vet technicians yet, but we won't hesitate to try to save an animal anyways. Best wishes.
