8th grade students, join Tara High School’s Pathways in Technology Early College Magnet Academy for our 2021 EBR 8th Grade Technology Expo! Tara High School’s Pathways in Technology Early College Magnet Academy will host the 2021 EBR 8th Grade Technology Expo on Tuesday, November 9th from 8:30 AM-10:30 AM in the school gym. There will be several mini-sessions on IBM Badging, Coding Spheros and Little Bits, Drones/ Robotics, 3-D Printing, Mindfulness/ Design Thinking and more! All 8th grade Middle school students are invited to register. o assure that appropriate spacing and COVID-19 safety protocols are strictly enforced, a maximum of twenty-five (25) 8th grade students from each middle school will be allowed to register to attend. P-T.E.C.H. is an EBRPSS Magnet Program at Tara High School. We have a thematic focus of Computing and Information Systems and Mobile Application Development. Students in P-T.E.C.H. are enrolled in a college program alongside high school, and will graduate with an Associate's Degree. Our industry partner is IBM and our college partner is Baton Rouge Community College.
