Feel your Qi! Relax, Breathe and Move. Qigong and Tai Chi are Excellent for your Health!
"Qi" or "Chi" means energy or life force. Gong means cultivation/practice, with purpose and intent. Qigong is a 5,000-year-old practice, which implements gentle movement, breath and mind focus to enhance longevity and health. Much like Qigong, Tai Chi is a similar meditative, contemplative movement practice that is designed to increase strength, mobility, and stability and promote balance. The Tai Chi for Arthritis form Sandra teaches was formulated by Dr. Paul Lam, a 45 year tai chi practitioner and medical doctor, and a team of medical and tai chi experts. It is designed specifically for those who wish to increase and sustain fluidity in their joints.
An increasing number of recent studies have shown that Qigong and Tai Chi enhance many different aspects of physical health, longevity and body balancing. There are many different kinds of Qigong and Tai Chi. Sandra has studied under several teachers.
