Hey everyone, we've been looking forward to this day for a long time and it has finally come. After years of planning and building Flora de Mel, we are open and making mead. It has been a true pleasure to share our vision with you, and we are incredibly thankful for all of your support so far.
You may have seen the 6 demijohns fermenting behind the bar, and the good news for you is that they're finally done. The bad news is that there are only 10 gallons of each of those meads. So although they'll run out fast, we want to offer the first tasting to those who are interested. They vary quite a bit and our head mead makers are excited to talk about each one, as well as what went in to making them.
While you enjoy the tasting, light food will be provided by Chef Khaled Albanna from Calliope Restaurant. After the tasting, you can select your favorite mead and take home a bottle. (Pro tip - age it for a year if you can stand it.) You'll also receive 10% off any other bottle purchase you'd like.
