Medfield Lions Assist MFC Food Drive... The Medfield Food Cupboard is holding a month-long food drive during the month of October. A trailer is located at the Public Safety Bldg (Police/Fire Station) on North Street for non-perishable food donations. For any residents who would like to donate items, but do not have a way to get them to the trailer, the Medfield Lions will pick your donations up at your house! The Lions motto is "We Serve" and this food drive is the perfect way for the Medfield Lions to work in cooperation with the incredible Medfield Food Cupboard volunteers to aid in getting the most out of this October food drive. The most needed food items include: jarred pasta sauce,macaroni and cheese, canned pasta, canned chili, canned beef stew, 100% juice in juice boxes, rice pilaf. If you are looking through your own pantry, please just check EXPIRATION DATES. The MFC cannot accept expired food. If you need the Lions to pick up your donation, just follow these instructions: 1. Email [email protected] with you NAME, ADDRESS, CONTACT PHONE # and the outdoor place where you will leave your FOOD DONATION, i.e., front porch, near mailbox, etc. 2. You will receive an email reply indicating your request was received. 3. Please leave your food donations in a bag marked "FOOD". 4. The Medfield Lions will pick up ALL food donations requested on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30th between the hours of 9am - 1pm. 5. Thank you for donating to the Medfield Food Cupboard.
