TRUMBULL, CT — Two K-8 schools in Trumbull have been named among the top xx in Connecticut in a new report by U.S. News & World Report. Daniels Farm School came in at #9, and Tashua School came in at #16, according to the report. For the inaugural list, U.S. News published rankings and data on more than 80,000 public elementary and middle schools across the United States. In Connecticut, a total of 848 schools were ranked, 560 elementary and 288 middle schools. Schools are ranked at the state and district levels. The best charter schools and best magnet schools ranked as stand-alone categories. U.S. News ranked Booth Free School in Roxbury as the top in Connecticut among K-8 schools, according to the new list.
