Hiya, I'm the founder of a music technology company, working from my 800 sq. ft. 1-bedroom flat, where everything that isn't the bedroom is an office. My secret to working from home is keeping my house clean and organized and showing up fresh and clean to my own office every day. It's paramount to maintain hospitality for the coworkers and business partners that come here to share this space with me throughout the week. I need to be sure that this is always a comfortable, creative, professional workspace. Lately, my schedule has been hectic, and I am seeking a skilled, self-motivated person to show up at my home office and please handle the housekeeping tasks that are starting to pile up! Take a break and go surfing. What matters is reliably setting schedule expectations and then meeting them—low tolerance for flakiness. Also, we are three blocks from either the Muni N train or LBUS. —Duties— You will perform various cleaning and organizing duties, deep and daily cleaning, including floors, dusting, kitchen, bathroom, windows, laundry (in-unit), and folding. Keep storage areas clean and organized. Clean + straighten up home and office. Water the plants. Participate in maintaining inventory controls for cleaning products, linens, and amenities. —Qualifications— The ideal candidate is friendly, caring, and has a positive, can-do attitude. You are reliable and consistent, possess tremendous attention to detail, are meticulous and process-driven. You're driven and solve problems intelligently to complete a chore without assistance. But, you are great at asking clarifying questions to avoid mistakes. It would be best if you were organized and detailed. You follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Maintain safety procedures & practices. You're proficient in English, great at communicating and have professional acumen. + Able to work legally in the United States. + Proof of complete vaccination against Covid-19 + No pet allergies, as I have a cat. + No tobacco smoke. I need at least two prior employment references, and I will need to speak with them. Before hiring, you will need to complete a background check. Background checks usually take 1-3 business days. —Terms— $18-$22 per hour. Starting wage depends on experience. On-site at my home office in Ocean Beach, San Francisco. Able to make a one-year commitment, ideally longer if my business does well. Part-time. ~4 hours a day, totaling 10-15 hours per week. I'm flexible about the schedule, but ideally, we will kick off each Monday with a deep cleaning.
