Inaugural Friends Of Reston Fall 5K Hits The Streets This Sunday

RESTON, VA — Reston runners, walkers and strollers still have time to sign up to participate in the inaugural Friends of Reston Fall 5K. The event begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday at Brown's Chapel Park, which is located at 1686 Brown's Chapel Road in Reston. Participants will travel along paved trails in north Reston, finishing up back at the park. Once there, they can take part in the awards celebration, win prizes and listen to live music. Online registration is open until Oct. 15 on the Friends of Reston's website for a fee of $45. Registration will also be available for the same fee on the day of the event.
