Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Sharon Tillman 10/13/2021 Today the Community Foundation of Carroll County announced that a celebration of the retirement of founding director Audrey Cimino will take place on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, 11 AM - 2 PM, at Martin's in Westminster, Maryland. The Community Foundation of Carroll County is celebrating its founder, Audrey Cimino, and her 25+ year legacy of serving the needs of the Carroll County community. Cimino tirelessly led the CFCC from 1994-2020. It was her vision that brought the community foundation concept to Carroll County, growing it from humble beginnings in the offices of Carroll County Bank & Trust Company. Today the CFCC has more than 8 million dollars in assets and supports over 320 causes and scholarships. Cimino's retirement was announced on March 30, 2020, but due to Covid-19 closures a celebration was postponed. This celebration is overdue and much deserved. Jaclyn Mathias assumed her new role as executive director on April 1, 2020. Celebrating Audrey Cimino: Impact. Legacy. Change. is an opportunity for family, friends, colleagues, and clients to gather in honor of Cimino and celebrate all she has accomplished in Carroll County.
